Although the day started out with cloudy skies and a few light showers, I decided to head out with my camera. I drove to Fulton, Illinois which is about 45 minutes from my house. My friend Bill was up there on Saturday and said that he had spotted some different duck species in the area. Bill and I do a lot of photography trips together, but this weekend our schedules didn’t match. If you get a chance, you should visit his blog The Rural Path, where he chronicles his nature sightings as he travels about.
The weather had cleared somewhat by the time I made it up to Fulton, so I was able to get few shots without too much trouble. A little bit later the showers moved in, and I had to be a bit more patient. I was only out for a few hours, but I felt it turned out to be a pretty fantastic day:-)
