While in Alice Springs, Australia I went for an early morning camel ride. It was so beautiful and peaceful to watch the sunrise over the outback. When we returned these beautiful birds were scratching around the straw in the barnyard. It was very difficult to get a decent picture because they were so far away, plus the early morning sun didn’t supply enough light. Sadly, this was the one and only time I saw these birds during my time in Australia.
I’d say that’s a pretty good picture, so no sadness here. Those look like pretty powerful beaks!
