This Australian rainforest was simply beautiful. It was exactly like we expected: moist, hot, dark, and really green. I was, however, very surprised at how little wildlife we saw! Even the insects were hiding!

Awesome photos and love the lizard! Do you know what it is yet? Really sorry to hear there were no insects out. That’s a real bummer! Sorry for the late response. Had a heavy day of biking after our monsoon yesterday. Had lots of water in the basement so spent the morning and evening cleaning that up as well:( Yuck!

Thank you Bill. I haven’t had time to research much, so I don’t know what kind of lizard it is. There is very little down time on this trip (which is good). I heard that Geneseo got a lot of rain. Sorry that it caused such a mess!
